Michelle Sancho, O.D.

Dr. Michelle Sancho has practiced in the metro Denver area since 1999. She previously practiced in a Pediatric Ophthalmology office and a Corneal Specialty office before opening ParkRidge Vision Specialists, P.C. with her husband, Jeff Marlatt, OD.

She specializes in difficult to fit contact lenses including dry eyes, pediatrics, Keratoconus (including scleral lenses), post-LASIK/RK/PRK, Aphakia, corneal transplants, etc.  Doctor Sancho is a contributing doctor of the "KC-Link" for the National Keratoconus Foundation. She is also an active member of the Colorado Optometric Association, the Americian Optometric Association (AOA) the Cornea and Contact Lens division of the AOA and a volunteer doctor for the national InfantSee program.

Doctor Sancho was appointed by Governor Bill Ritter in 2007 to the State of Colorado Board of Optometric Examiners where she is an advocated for the public.  We are proud to say that she served as President for the Board of examiners for many years.

Dr. Jeff Marlatt, OD practiced in the Aurora and Parker area from 1999 to 2004. He opened ParkRidge Vision Specialists, P.C. with his wife, Michelle Sancho, OD in December 2004. He specializes in difficult to fit contact lenses including dry eyes, Keratoconus, post-LASIK/RK/PRK, Aphakia, corneal transplants and CRT (Corneal Refractive Therapy). Doctor Marlatt is a competitive shooter and sports enthusiast who understands the need for precise vision and  good hand-eye coordination. He is an active member of the Colorado Optometric Association,  the American Optometric Association (AOA) the National Sporting Clays Association and the Colorado Sporting Clays Association.

Carolyn Smith, O.D.

Dr. Carolyn Smith specializes in low vision patients, hard-to-fit contact lens wearers and comprehensive eye exams. She is a specialist in fitting many types of contact lens; soft, toric and rigid. She fits Keratoconus lenses as well.

Dr. Smith graduated from the New England College of Optometry in 1999, with honors and was nominated to the BETA SIGMA KAPPA HONOR SOCIETY. Her extensive clinical education includes internships at the Portland, VA Medical Center, Portland, OR and the Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX.

After working with low vision patients for many years, Dr. Smith can zero in on improving their quality of life and increasing independence, providing lifestyle suggestions and low vision devices.

Dr. Smith is a long distance runner and enjoys skiing with her husband and sons.
