Contact Lenses for Dry Eye
If you experience dry eye symptoms while wearing contact lenses, you may benefit from switching to types of lenses known to help reduce the occurance of dry eye. Please visit our page about Dry Eye Contact Lenses for more information.
Contact Lenses for Astigmatism
It is commonly believed that people with astigmatism cannot wear soft contact lenses. While this was true is in the past, modern soft toric lenses can now be used. Toric lenses have a special correction built into them and may also contain a prescription for nearsightedness or farsightedness if you need it.
While these new soft torics work well for most cases of astigmatism, if you have high or irregular astigmatism, you'll likely do better with rigid gas permeable or corrective eyeglasses. At our Lone Tree office, Drs. Marlatt and Sancho will help you review your options and find the best possible solution for your specific needs.
